What Are a Work Permit and a Business Visa?

Steps for Applying for a Work Permit and Business Visa for the First Time

1. Apply for a 90-day business visa (Visa Non-B) from the Thai consulate in your country or the Immigration Bureau in Thailand.

2. Once you receive the visa, immediately apply for a Work Permit (Tor Tor 1) valid for one year at the Department of Employment within 30 days.

3. After receiving the Work Permit, renew the Business Visa (Visa Non-B) for one year at the Immigration Bureau within 30 days.
